How does one subscribe to a topic so to get notified of repies? I know when I reply I can do that - how about when posting a new topic? Or when you find one that interests you but you don't have a reply?

Some forums dont allow subscriptions.

Surscriptions are a huge burden on the server. Think about it... every time a post is made an email would then need to be sent out to all members who are subscribed. That means that there are hundreds of emails going out every minute!
