Here is a suggestion that would simplify it a bit for all non US members of the site:

On the active topic page last visit is shown: "Active Topics Since" and a dropdown list. That is good however the time is server side wich means it shows what the time was on the server the last time I was on the site. Since I live in the other side of the globe the time is a bit off.

If current server time where shown next to the dropdown it would be easier for me to se what my time was at my last visit.
