Most supercharged engines run an air filter, except for full on racing engines. With modern air filters you're not going to give up much in performance and you're certainly going to improve the life of all the moving parts involved.

 

How would a supercharger work on a bike? Wouldnt you need some sort of belt drive?

i think you are thinking about the hypercharger, which is an aircleaner designed to look like an old fashioned hilborn fuel injector hat. It has vacuum operated butterflys. It is mostly for looks and will add little performance. These guys make one:

Yes, a supercharger requires a drive of some type, belt or gear driven. I'm sure some engineer could design one for the Warrior, but it would be pretty complicated and definitely BIG bucks!
