I was scouring the site looking for info on TB sync'ing. I know how to do it but how often does it need to be done? Also where can I get a cheap sync tool?

Depending on your yearly mileage/usage.....As for myself I just started syncing my TB's and they were off quite a bit...bike now idle's smoother, less vibration....plan would be 2-3 times per calender year....
