I feel I need to give credit to an exceptional member who has displayed a great deal of patients and understanding.

I shipped my wheel and swingarm to KyleNV back around October/November time for his 280 kit. I chose Kyle because he was very informative, refused to talk badly about other venders work, and was more focussed on supplying fellow members with quality parts/service at affordable prices, instead of making a ton of $$. Well after about 4 weeks, Kyle contacted me to inform me that the company who widens the wheels for him was transitioning owners and there would be a delay. This took some time but he continued to keep me updated and never left me in the dark.

In the meantime, my wife was experiencing medical issues which led to a number of visits to doctors, and a variety of specialists. As a result, we had to completely drain my mod fund.

Kyle called me up to let me know my wheel and swingarm where completed, and unfortunetly I had to explain to him I did not have the funds to pay him. Instead of becoming annoyed or irritated, Kyle only expressed concern for my wife and has since worked with me on payments.

I just wanted to share my experience with Kyle and give him a big THANK YOU for being an outstanding member, vender, and friend.

Thanks agian,

Mike

You guys are both great members, and this single post is proof beyond any doubt anyone anywhere might
have (which seems impossible to imagine). I hope you are all still doing better . . . including your wife Mike.

That's fantastic! As stated, a man being a man. A man standing by his wife and putting her first and another man recognizing that and still helping a brother out. Well done fellas!

Mike, I hope your wife is on the mend and doing better pal!

Thanks for sharing your story Mike.

I'm sorry to hear of your situation and hope everything works out well for your wife. :)

I'm also looking forward to seeing your project progress as and when things improve and you find the time to get on with it.

As for Kyle, I'm not in the least bit surprised to hear what he did. He's a top man!

Mike,
A touching and moving story about yours and wife's situation. Unexpected things come up in life and guys like Kyle just show you there are still good people out there. Last year I wanted to go 240 and keep my 5 spoke look. Kyle searched everywhere for me at the time and could not locate a donor wheel. In the end I went cycle image due to a deal I could not turn down. I felt bad for Kyle after his hard work and contacted him by phone. He was happier than me that I was sorted and since then sold me his spare engine at a very good price. Kyle you are a man of your word, man of integrity, and a man I can honestly say I'm proud to call a friend. Hats off to you Brother.

Good friends are like diamonds, so are men of character and intergrity. Both you guys exemplify that. I'm proud to be digitally associated with you and hope to meet you both for a ride one day.

Thanks for posting this, you both continue to rock!

It's threads like these or phone calls from members telling me there storys and thank you, that keep me motivated to do great work and try to keep things affordable. I go out of my way to work with everyones budget. If I have a decent month and my bills are paid I try to have a sale or heavily discount a couple swingarms for forum members. I do this to say thanks for trusting me with your hard earned money. I am proud that I was able to help and honored to read these threads.

Good post. I remember when kyle joined and had the warrior bug, thought he was a great guy then and still think the same. He saw instantly how we are a tight community looking out for each other and has since become a huge contributor. Had I not had the job changes I would have had the fat azz already, but its coming..the hidden caliper I have was one of his first and I wish I had the extra to buy everything else he offers. Best wished to your wife, and hats off to both of you!

UPDATE: 9/13/12

It's been a long road with MANY delays, but I have finally got the bike on road. I can not thank Kyle enough for his patients, outstanding attitude, and all his help. Kyle really is one of those guys who goes the extra mile, and is happy to do so. Not only did kyle hook me up with my 280, but when I told him I could no longer afford to have my rear wheel powdercoated, he offered to trade his 2-tone front wheel for my midnight wheel so I could have a matching set of wheels. This saved me another $50!

If anyone is even thinking about going fat, you have to talk to Kyle 1st!! I can't imagine anyone going to another vender after talking to Kyle.

THANKS AGAIN KYLE!

Mike
