I'm a member of several bike related forums and it ceases to amaze me with the amount of support and friendship you can have with people you have never met in person. Case in point:
Last night I was talking to a RSW member on the phone about a part he had for sale. Figured out it wasn't going to be what I wanted, said thanks and all was well. I logged on to RSW and searched the classified's and found a simular product and sent a PM. Getting a bit late, I was off to bed.
Friday mornings bring a weekly meeting, at the butt-crack-of-dawn, mind you and I rarely get on the net before I leave for work. Today, however, I logged on and noticed a reply from DFW Warrior that included his cell number. After my meeting, I gave him a call. The part he had for sale was what I wanted. He asked how close I was to Tulsa. I "work" in Tulsa. Come to find out, he was driving to Tulsa today and brought the part with him. I met him @ the University of Tulsa at 5:00pm and made the deal and a new friend. Thanks.

It really is strange isn't it. I consider the guys that I ride with from the site and the others I don't, as true friends. I know I would do anything for them, and I know they would do the same for me. When I talk about the site to other people, and tell them about the time we all spend giving advise, help and opinions, they just think it is weird.

I don't belong to any other forums so I have nothing to reference, but I cannot imagine they are anything like this one. You are right amospro, it makes owning the bike that much better. Without getting all teary eyed and mushy, the site has become an important part of my life. I am sure we all feel the same.

I disagree!!!![xx(]I'm completely addicted to this sight!! I have to stand up in front of a room full of people and say," My name is Bill and I'm a rswarrior .comaholic!"[/emoticons/emotion-5.gif] or I'll never get better. Seriously though, This sight is head and shoulders above anthing else I've seen on the net.

This site truly is unbelievable. Though I've met very few warrior riders in the city, when I do, rswarrior.com comes up within the first 30 seconds of conversation. I've been in the IT industry a long time and I've never seen such a tighter-knit community. A HUGE kudos to the moderators, members, and those who keep this site running.

I think a lot of it is due to the fact that we own a 'rare' bike - that is, a bike that isn't all that common. It seems that a majority of Warrior owners are experienced riders who took the time to really research what they wanted in a bike. Certainly not your typical HD owner's mentality (no offense to all you guys who own both).

Man, I love this place.

Being a moderator on another board, dirtrider.net(shameless plug) I know how well like minded people who are passionate about their sport get along. My passion for bikes is shared by many around the world. I regularly communicate with riders in the UK, Austrailia, Japan, and New Zealand. The community of riders is vast, full of great people that love to ride and talk about their bikes, racing, wrenching, and mods of all types. I've more than once jumped on the net, posted a question, get an answer in a few minutes and continue with my project. You can be sure when you meet me, I've either got mud, dirt, grease, or bug guts on me or I'm thinking about it. The Warrior is in a class of its own and the members here are **** proud of it, me too. RSW.com is a excellent means to communicate with the community.

if you're not meeting and riding with other members on this forum, you're missing out big time on some great experiences and meeting some great people! i am lucky enough to live where i can meet many rswarrior members and ride with them. i haven't seen this kind of camaraderie with other bikes.

A lot of good people here!

WE DONT NEED NO STINKING BADGERS!

I have learned so much from this great forum and was starting to feel like one of the family then I saw Jeremiah's signature. [:0]

I think he is talking about the badgers in the USA. They stink much more[/emoticons/emotion-2.gif][/emoticons/emotion-2.gif]

Not to sound like a broken record (Oh..I mean CD)

I also belong to another Yamaha XS1100 forum and this one is heads and antlers above the rest This site has given me the confidence to mod the S$%^ out of a perfectly great brand new bike without giving it a second glance.
Not to mention the response to kmy question has been overwhelming, not to mention the shear amount of information available here.
I've got more sound advice here then I could ever dreamed of getting from my local Yammie dealer.

These guys will give the shirts off their backs and go "Way Out Of
Their Way" to help you solve a problem/question.
(Just remember to "Do A Search First Before Post A question")

I'm really looking forward to meeting more members up at Laconia this June.

WE EFFIN ROCK!
[/emoticons/emotion-3.gif)]
And how many of us will turn around to MEET a Warrior rider we don't recognize???
I've done it a couple of times.. and had it done to/for me!
We are the bomb.
I'm also amazed at how quickly we all pile on to kiss each others butts about how much we rock!

I'm having trouble deciding what is more addicting, Riding my RS Warrior or surfing the RSWARRIOR web site. So much help and info here its like a super size walking talking shop tech manual for our bikes. And any group of guys that feed you all the beer and burgers you can eat for three bucks can't be too bad.
Got to go mow the yard, Big ride this afternoon.

I wouldn't have bought the Warrior without this site. I knew it was going to take mods to make it what I wanted, and I saw how willing people were to jump in and help noobs. I agree that the bike is one reason why this site is what it is. The people who buy Warriors are individuals. We didn't buy squidly bikes, we didn't buy hardleys, we bought the only bike (at least until the B-king comes out) that has charisma.
