Hey guys,

I've been having a lot of problems with the throttle sticking lately.
Its about time I put new throttle cables on anyway. What are your suggestions for aftermarket cables? Which one do you suggest avoiding?

Thanks in advance!!

Way back when I had stock airbox still I had an issue with throttle cable sticking and it turned out it was binding on the airbox after I installed it incorrectly. Just food for thought if you've still got stock air box.

I recall you had an incident with your bike back in August - Wanted Midnight Tank/Tank Repair

I'm only speculating, if the bike was laid down on the RH side, that it's not uncommon for the throttle grip to bottom out against the end of the handlebar on the inside of the grip causing throttle issues.

The split switch box housing has an index pin cast into the housing that fits into the handlebar and could have sheared.

Just a thought and as stated above, the OEM throttle cable will do the task nicely if you have stock length cables :)
