I just removed the AIS, installed PCIII and added the Thunder teardrop air kit. Thunder kit went on easy and looks great IMHO. I used girlzwarrior's PCIII map and it seems to be a good fit even though I have Thunder vs. BAK (map made for D&D slipon and the Barons BAK). It pulls like a mule and is smooth to redline. A pop here and there until it gets good and hot, but then it's clean. I'll check the plugs after a bit. Thanks for all the insight from multiple people on AIS and PCIII. It made the mods much easier. I posted pics in the gallery...B.

The map you used from Girlzwarrior was it custom made or can it be downloaded from the net. I just got the Barons Bak and will be in need of a map soon I have the corba slipon and currently use the d&d slip-on map. Maybe that map your using will work on my bike also let me know whats up with it.

Girlzwarrior: The kit is predrilled with custom mounting brackets that force you to mount it horizontally. Customizing it to mount vertically is beyond me, but something I'm sure billh1943 could manage.

Hoss: I'm starting with girlzwarrior's custom map and made no changes, so far. The map girlzwarrior posted is a slightly modified 007 map made for the D&D slipon with stock air filters. The only changes were in the full throttle numbers. I suppose due to the increased airflow of the BAK.

The potential to suck in some moisture is there, though I have heard of individuals running them in the rain with no adverse affects. Thunder sells "raincoats" for their kits for $20 extra. I keep one under the seat just in case my poor baby gets caught in a downpour [/emoticons/emotion-6.gif]...B.

It´s too bad this doesn´t do away with the stock air box under the tank... It would have been so much better if it was like a ram air type thing, I do like the looks of the thunder kit... anyone know if there is any ram air type thing with a functoinal side scoop sort of a cross between the BAK and the Thunder kit, out there for the warrior at all??

Wishful thinking...
