Coming up to the 8k service and when ya read the things to do ..it's ok... until ya read or 24months replace it!..

So my question good people is as i've got an 03 bike at 8k it's 5yrs old..does that mean that everything marked 24 months or 36months has to be replaced or repacked?

examples being...brake fluids front and rear...transfer case oil...rear arm pivot bearing repack...steering bearings repack...

brake fluids... if they are dirty, yes, replace those. if not, no. mine is 9000 now and they are starting to look dirty, i will replace it soon. is only $10.

transfer case oil.... replace at 1000 then at 16000.... at 8000 you just check level.

i wont repack bearings until they really need to be repacked. you are suppose to repack them every 16000, buti will check on that time.

Depends, you want the bike to live another five years, or fifty. Todays lubricants hold up real well. You should not have any problems in the short term.
