Hey WD. Thanks for the "welcome". Very cool!!

Without sounding a little harsh, I come here as a fellow biker and not as a vendor. I've noticed that there are some pretty strict rules here for "vendors", and for what it's worth, I frequent a pretty good chunk of the net & local forums here in East TN and tend to be very active in keeping all of my customer base up to date with "Specials", Sales. Sales Events, Printable Coupons, Racers Rider Support Programs, etc.... FOR FREE. But a few things, only to address your initial questions. ;)

"How do we get the best pricing?" - Come to Cycle Gear!!.... As a local/national, actual have a location/building retailer, you will always get the best pricing! ALWAYS!! And just to back it up, if you find a better price from another actual local biz that actually employees local people and has a real store front (Not Bobs Cycles... shipping from his garage in MI or "I saw this guy on Ebay").... we will always at least meet or beat any pricing. And honor that policy up to 30days from your purchase, AND... my fav.... No matter WHAT YOU BUY AT CG, and despite the manuf. warranties.... we will back up the product (again, all product) for life against DEFECTS... not wear and tear, but actual defects. :) Might be worth the visit?? ;)

I refuse to pay to tell/post to local riders that we have some great stuff going on that might be of interest or savings. I just like doing so in general....well, because again, I'm a biker first and not an Internet Marketing Manager. I share because I like sharing, not because I'm trying to draw you in to our stores. See what I'm saying...??

"Do we have to let you know that we are RSWarrior members at the register?" - You don't have to, but I always enjoy meeting new people and bikers.... even more so if you ride what I ride! ;) Yeah, by all means let me know you're on the forum. It would be cool to put a face to a screen name.

Again, Thanks for the welcome man! Very cool.

Happy Holidays y'all! Ride safe and keep warm if you can. I'm already going crazy looking forward to some warmer days and long road trips/rides.

EJ

I stopped at the store in Hendersonville a couple of weeks ago and the folks in that store were talking about your new warrior and stuff.

Good to hear from you Scott, hope you and your family are good. You should try to get over to the Wide Open Throttle Fest next May if you can. It's in the Bike Event section.

I'll definitely let you know, he is a guy that is part of my riders group at the American legion, he has almost 30 years of experience , but is just now trying to get his work out there and do some advertising. He is using some of us that ride with him to get his name and work out there. I can post up some pics of his other workthough
Do you ride with any groups or anything?

Being that the Warrior is my first bike and, honestly, the first cruiser I've ever ridden I'd like to just ride another one and have someone ride mine to see if everything seems good with it. I love it and I have no problems, but friends of mine randomly mention that they think something is wrong with it. I also just want to see a Warrior that someone has done some mods to so I can get an idea. Honestly I just want to have a face to face conversation about the bikes and maybe get some advice etc from another Warrior owner. I basically just want an experienced rider to ride mine and say "everything seems great to me".

You guys should really try to get over to Deals Gap this September. I think the dates are the 14-17th or so. Lots of great people over there to meet and you can also ask the questions that you need answered. Look for the Return to the Dragon post that should be started under Motorcycle events. If you get there and dont like it you can always just turn around and ride back home.

Dog, if it was during the summer I'd probably do it. But that's after school starts, and it's hard to get away during the school year.

Still....

Hmmm, maybe...

I'm sure we could meet up sometime. But you're not going to ride my bike. Nobody rides my bike ;)

I'm curious though -why do your friends randomly think there's something wrong with your bike?

I get what you're saying about meeting other riders though. Elkton -which is about 20 minutes north of Clarksville in KY- has a bike night every Thursday night. I try to get out there once in awhile just to be inspired and talk BS with whomever is hanging out. Usually there's 60 or more bikes there.

Autoshop?

I learned everything in the school of hard knocks. :)

When my wife and I were first married, we were sooo broke.... (who wasn't, right)?

So I couldn't afford to take my car or motorcycle in to get fixed. Had to fix everything myself. Now I have a pretty decent set of tools and love both woodworking and auto/motorcycle repair. There are some things I won't tackle (a man's gotta know his limits) but the thing I've learned is, if you screw up, it's almost always recoverable.

So the moral of the story is go for it! :D
