My brother on his 02 warrior put 13,000 mi and i put 15 on my vulcan 1500 classic last year, this recall has resulted in him selling his bike on friday, then later that day picked up a new
warrior 04 gray flame, just didn't buy a brand
new bike to have it completely gone thru, loves his new one as
much as his old one, but lost thousands and still has cowl and
fairing to buy, great bike but this recall will be a sad memory
for the ones that went down, and ones that didn't get to put the
miles on, every day thats gone is gone and a day without ridin
sucks shiny side up all, sunny

That's why I bit the bullet and am getting some motor work while it's being worked on, to make lemonaide out of the deal. He could have not lost thousands but spent that money to make a bike that would chew up the rest of the v-twins out there. Now, he has to settle for the fact that he lost money on the purchase and most 02 warriors will blow past his 04 like it's standing still. I'd be pretty upset if I was him. I plan to have my recall be a happy memory. I'll look back at the day when Yamaha paid 9.5 hours of labor toward me having a torque monster

Haha, that's what they said about the all the Warriors when the Road Star Recall came out. 04's are just a year behind. [/emoticons/emotion-5.gif]
