I have been on the site for sometime. It is winter, and I am thinking about some mods. I have been looking at muscle cars for fun. I have come across some words that I don't know and would like a little help understanding.
Turbocharger= A compressor which blows more air into the cylinder. It is powered by a turbine in the exhaust. It may be capable of doubling the power of an engine.
Supercharger= belt driven compressor which works to the same end although not so efficiently.
Blower= ???
Hemi= ???
I love the look of the engine sticking out of the hood of a muscle car.
I realize that these are muscle car terms, but I saw someone joking/ wishing for a turbocharger for the warrior. If this kind of mod. can double the hp of the warrior then I would like to know more.
Can you teach me about this kind of stuff or point me in the right direction.

PS. I have seen some radical choppers with a large piece of machinery protruding from the right side of the bike below the tank. Would that be a turbocharger and if so are they all that big/ugly?
