The fronts are dual filament bulbs and act as running lights and turn signals. The rears are single filament and are only turn signals.

There are kits out there to turn your rear signals to running lights and flash very quickly for 6 seconds and light up as additional brake lights! I forgot which kit I have now. I'll have to look when I get home!

use only single filament lights. that is what i did and have had no problems look at my gallery for my setup

 

Get rid of all that stuff anyway, clean it up.

 

Wow Whatr started out as a simple question has now moved on to a mod post! I might just have to look at changing my front and read signals also.

How did you get around not having some type of load on the front running lights? When I hooked up my silver bullets up front as just turn signals I got the weird clicking of the starter relay issue on power off (others ran into this also). I ended up just using the silver bullets as running lights until I get the Kurakyn Run/Turn controller to work and that is a whole nother story.

 

i have heard of others having problems with the electrical. i have had no problems with mine. i even took all of mine off for a while and had no problems where other bikes would so error messages are not run right. maybe im just lucky in this case. i used biker choice mini bullets on the front and back.
