Looking forward to getting the new v-bak kit. Does someone have approximate instal time? 1-hour? 2-hours? 3-six packs? Any quirks I should be aware of minus FPR relocation?

It is easier if you do an AIS block-off at the same time. Gets rid of a bunch of hoses that you will have to deal with if you don't do the block-off. Church sells the block-off plates for $6.00 and includes the little cap that is needed to cover your vacume outlet on one throttle body. His plates are square and pre-drilled so you'll need to grind them or sand them to the oval shape, not hard but takes time.

The V-bak will take you a couple evenings or a good day if you haven't done one before like I hadn't. I think the second time would be a snap.

Have fun!

I found it pretty easy (PR kit - similar). Took me about an hour and a half. Taking the stock air box out is about the most challenging step. Just look it over real good before taking it out. and YES, do the AIS at the same time, you'll thank us later. Be sure to put a towel in the throttle body until you're ready to place the v-stacks and filters on so you don't drop any bolts inside.

The AIS for me was much more of a pain, so many bit and pieces, for me that took longer, well over 2 hours. The VBAK was a snap really, just pay attention to the instructions, read them well a few times before starting. Have the correct tools, a MAJOR must, and it shouldn't take longer than 2 hours.

I was surprised how easy it went on.

Left with another pile of parts...
