Hello, everyone!

My local dealer has run out of tailligths for European market RSW model and offers only Stanley P2137 tail light.
Unfortunately Stanley P2137 tail light is considered 'not suitable for the European model' in my local technical inspection station so my bike can't past the test only for this reason.
The internet offers either Stanley or taillights for American market so I am in a little trouble. Actually I have never seen one neither in internet or in person so I don't know what I actually looking for. May be someone could take a picture and show me the actual European light and marking on it.

If you have this kind of tail light or you know someone who has and could consider to sell it, please let me know.

Thank you!

Danke!

The EU tail lights are the same housing and lens as the USA but is fitted with two incandescent bulbs instead of LED. Additionally, many USA bikes were sent to dealers in the UK where they were modified for the UK market. In those bikes, which Jarv coined as Gray Imports, they got headlight modification but the LED tail brake light remained LED. So I wonder if the stock USA tail brake light would pass?

Unfortunately, USA tail light still would not pass. Technical inspection requires euro type taillight with e-marking, two bulbs and red cover.

will they accept some other e-marked taillight? one that you can mount just to get the approval?

(btw.. jarv didn't coin the term Gray import.. that's been around for a long long time over on this side of the pond)

Maybe another alternative for you could be to convert the rear flashers to tail/brake and turn signals like a lot of the european Harleys have.
