Well guys n gals ...

Yesterday afternoon at approximately
1230pm ...
As I was riding with some friends here in town on regular streets...
On a 3 lane road , and I'm in far left lane.
Coming around a slight curve ..
My front tire caught some gravel n sand that was in the lane , and nothing I could do.
Warrior slid to the curb hitting with front tire first , and than the rear.
Causing us both to go over curb...

I walked away from it with slight road rash on my elbows..

Warrior not so Fortunate....

So sorry to hear the bad news about the bike. Very glad to hear you were OK except for some road rash. I wouldn't be surprised if Geico declares the bike totaled. Sucks because you had the bike looking so good. Let us know what you have planned.

Its always a gamble what is important is that your not trying to type using a stick in your mouth or with your toes. Glad you survived its always an emotional bitch to kill a good piece but they are just iron & you can build another / better one if you like.
I have heard that Jack Daniels has a soothing effect on frazzled nerves.
Take care.

Hey Desertboy that's fd up, it really sucks when your just along for the ride, where you geared up? Bummer about the bike lots of hard work down the drain but now you have something to do this winter. Do all the things you have been wanting to do! SO glad you came out of it with just some road rash, thanks God no traffic in the other lane. Anything I can do you know where I am.
