LMAO OMG thats rediculous sh*t. My 600lb ALUMINUM frame 02 Warrior without nitrous It has the 108 kit/cams typical hop up puts about 110 TTRW @ 119Ftlbs T and it would tear than 800lb pile of bolts to shreadz. Beer says it all. And yeah all our bike look better cost less etc....[/emoticons/emotion-2.gif]

Ok I'll fess up and take whatever beating is coming. I am the Harley rider in discussion here. I would like to set a few things straight before the bashing starts, 1st The kid as has been called here (I guess you could say that being he's about 30 years younger than I am)is no amature, he's been riding sports all his life and knows how to handle a bike. 2nd No intent to degrade any bike, I ride with lots of diff type bikes, I ride a Harley, my Wife started on a Yamaha V-Star, one of my best friends in the world rode a Warrior until just recently, his wife rides a V-Star. 3rd I never intended to lead anyone into thinking my bike was stock, my dyno sheet at 118/118 had been posted for some time before the story, and that was before a few more upgrades and without NOS, but no intention to make anyone think I was stock. 4th(The Kid) is a great guy that I would ride anywhere with, and did ride a lot with while he was in LA. I consider him to be a good friend, If someone doesn't accept his bike anywhere we go, then they don't accept mine either, I could care less what you ride as long as you ride.
The only reason I found this site is one of the HD forum members pointed me here for help on the upgrades we did to his bike, I got some great info that helped a lot,(There still not as easy to work on as a Harley) but the info was great. The only thing I enjoy more than riding is working on bikes and learning new thing about them.

OK, let the bashing begin, I've got big shoulders.

Im not bashing. Welcome to the forum! I love all bikes(most anyway) It just gets tiring hearing all the crap from Harley guys sometimes. I think on both sides of the fence people get all huffy and puffy and that is annoying as ****! Whatever who cares? ride your bikes and most of all ENJOY.

I also ride with all kinds of different bike brands. I think most riders on this site do. The problem is when we (metric riders) get the hi and mighty attitude from Harlie riders, for some reason they think that we ride this bikes because were not grown up yet, or we cant afford a Harlie. I got news for you, we ride warrior because we love the bike and all it offers. not because we have Harlie envy, I for one, think the bike is the most bike for the money, If i wanted a Harlie i would buy one, That being said, i don't think all Harlie riders do this, but we sure get enough, to to piss us off once in awhile, just drop the "built in America, Harlie s#%t don't stink, only real men ride harleys" attitude. and "JUST RIDE"

Wow dude. You turned a corner in a hurry. Have fun with the v-rod. My prediction is that you will really love the way it runs, but hate the way in feels in a turn (that's the way I felt about it anyway).

Sorry to hear that a few guys giving you a hard time was enough to make you switch bikes. 99% of the people on this site are great. That being said the Vrod is a great bike. Wont have the low end grunt of the Warrior, but the high end on the Vrod is killer.
