Hi all.I am in the process of buying a 02 warrior and need some info on upgrades .Does the Samson street sweepers have a heat shield covering the entire pipe and are they loud?And yes the tranny was done.

I have the Sampson Ground Pounders and they are very loud. Come with heat shields down to the tips. Enjoy and welcome. Mine are so loud I am ordering baffels.

Welcome to the site Spideris. I've had the Samsons and I've gotta be honest, I'm not a big fan. Sure they were cheap(ish) but the quality wasn't impressive and they sapped a whole bunch of power - with or without baffles (I ran both ways for about a year). But it's all about personal choice and budget in this game, they sure look good, are VERY loud (especially without baffles) and are affordable. Best of luck and once again, welcome to the family.
