Darkstar, maybe I should be living by your signature asking you this but either I am missing something(which is possible since I am new to all this mod stuff) or there are different methods for different riser/bar combos. I have a topic/thread asking about Yami 6in rises and flat bar saying that I don't need to change any cables or lines. I think that was the same case with just changing to the Yami bend bar with stock risers, but here you are saying with just 4in risers that the brake line needs to be changed. And what about the Yami riser w/pull back?

PLEASE explain, I promise I will understand[/emoticons/emotion-2.gif]

I had installed the Yamaha mid height risers (about 4") with my stock bars, and all of the original cables would have worked. The brake line was REALLY tight between the master cylinder and the "T", but it would have worked, at least for a while. I changed it out to a dual brake line set-up. The throttle and clutch cables needed to be re-routed but they were ok. I had never planned on keeping that set-up, but if I did I would have changed out all of the lines and cables. I knew I was buying Radius bars, so I didn't care. If you are interested I have two stainless brake lines that I used with that setup, to run dual lines to the front brakes. I would sell them cheap, as I no longer need them. They are Goodrich uncoated stainless lines. You would need to buy the ends for them, a double banjo bolt for the master cylinder, and crush washers. You could reuse the stock banjo bolts on the caliper, though. Let me know if you want them, and I will get a price to you.

I put on the Longhorn bars and wanted to stay black with the cables and break line. I got black + 2 cables through Phats but didnt want to go to a 2 line break system and since nobody makes a T that fits the warrior very well, I cut the upper line off at the T and had a small fitting soldered on and then you can get whatever length you need from the T up to the master cylinder. Worked great and if I ever change bars again, I'll just replace the top half for about 15-20 bucks.
