Get a load of Cable ties and be inventive!

 

I want to take this moment and thank whoever invented those damned little cable ties. Life is better because of them.

I had the chrome Yamaha SS-Scoop but just put on the OE/CF scoop last night. I bundled up as much as I could into and up against the bike. The scoop hid the rats-nest without a problem.

 

I put my Thunder kit back on, It is going to be storage for my Tire Kit...

 

Still saving my change for the V-BAK...

You'd be amazed at what you can amass by not spending your coins... and wrapping them.
MUST have MORE AIR!!!
And zip ties... I LOVE zip ties!

 

I have the SS Scoop with snorkel. It will dump a lot of cool air under you seat for your BAK.

Same here, I put a gutted Speedstar scoop there with the original snorkel attached, to push some cool air up under the tank. Looks great (way better than the Hypercharger, IMHO)!

The * scope is nice but it is pretty common. I want something more original. I don't think I have seen any black hypers yet so I figure I will do my thing and see how it looks[8D]

SS Scoup is OK, but its made out of cheap plastic........even worse, they chromed it to try. I hate cheap plastic............Sold Mine.............

 

I see Hyperchargers on every other Harley, so I've never really thought of them as different... Never seen a black one, though, that should stand out.

Btw, has anyone else found it amusing that many of the Harley people believe the Hypercharger is the ultimate performance mod for their bikes? I mean, how advanced can an air intake be? The Hypercharger is for looks, butterfly flapping and all, but for performance the airbox has to be replaced with as big and open flowing air filters as possible.

 

I install a harley velocity stack with a base do it from a tool and die guy.

You can opt for the OE carbon scoop.

 

I bought the Thunder Air Kit before the PR BAK. I put it back on afterwards just for the looks of it. I like it.

I am in the process of puting Kuryakyn horn covers on both sides. The mounts have been made and they look good.

 

Once I've saved enough loose change to get a good BAK, I'm planning on using the Kuryakin twin velocity stack as a dummy (if it fits). Too many hyperchargers around.

I bought an old school looking cover from Maxair after installing Woody's v-back. I like it because my knees now can touch the tank.

Personally, I like lookin' at those two big jugs (as Al Bundy would say, "Big-uns")... slothy has got a very clean look and there is a lot of originality always shared on this forum. It gives me constant money pangs, can you say "deep pockets"?
