I'm kinda thinkin about getting one for the wife but have found the selection to be rather limited. Ofcoarse I'd rather have one that was powder coated black but it's not required cuz it will only be on the bike when she's with me.

I too found my options limited when I was looking for "an occassional" back rest.

I went for one from Cavalry Customs, which is ok and serves the purpose when it's fitted.

I've seen one that was powder coated black and it did look better than my chrome item.

I'd probably be more inclined to leave it fitted if it was black.

Jardine Products where looking at making a "quick release" item, check their website,

it may be available now.

I've got a Custom World International backrest & luggage rack on my '06. As far as backrests go I think it's fairlyattractive. It's a low-profile backrest soit doesn't detract too much from the overall lines of the bike. Thistype of restisn't a quick-remove type, soyou'll have tolearn to live with it.

I have the Harley Duce backrest fitted to my 04 Warrior. Looks great and you can get several differentpad hights to suit the look or feel you need. It only comes it chrome but it couldjust be painted or powder coated. It removes just as easy as the rear seat and since you have to drill it to fit the warrior you can setitas far back or forward as you wantor need. Check online at ebay I found mine for like $85 used with two pads. check my pics but i have some better ones i can post if needed. the pad you see on mine is the smallest one and I have one the next size up not pictured.

Good choice on the duece set up.If I would use one which I will not it would be the duece backrest.I even removed the wifes seat. She now rides on a removable pillon with suction cups.
