Let's just for fun consider different bikes to see what they are worth. I'm sure people here are trying buy and sell bikes.

So what have you seen SOLD on the market?

i just sold my 2003 honda 919 for $5100. (www.pbase.com/sy0296/final_shoot) was hoping for closer to $6k but $5100 is not bad.

seems there are quite a few warriors on the used market when i was shopping for mine. most from dealers were way over priced but non-negotiable. the one that initially caught my eye was a '05 midnight with 4000'ish mile which the dealer was asking for $10,400. My buddy who works there said the lowest they can let the bike go for was $9,500 out the door. another dealer was asking for $7100 for a very beat up '04 with 18,000 miles. it did have a lot of aftermarket parts but the pervious owner did not take care of that bike. i was able to get it down to $6,400 out the door but ended up walking away. anyways, that's one of the reasons why i got a warrior in the end (was comparing to vtx1800). they seem to hold their value better.
