ok...i've heard enough garbage from ta otherside of the pond ...the best fastest most reliable warriorscame to the uk in 2003...100 beauties picked for there titanium looks and given real big licence plates so the R1 types wouldn't cotton-on how fast they were...they'd debugged the 02'sand a few good men here in blighty realised the awesome..i say awesome speed of the 2003 uk warrior and snapped them up ...now the yami boys knew they were on to a good thing so they started churning them ...i say churning ...them out and sending them overseas..anywhere really.. as they knew we uk boys had sampled the good stuff and weren't about to buy into mass production stuff they stopped sending them here!!


And the proof is ya can't lay ya hands on an original 2003 for love nor money here in the uk..as i got the last one!!!

Enough with the BS children. You are impressing no one other than yourself. The 02 was in fact the fastest. No BS, this is well documented FACT! There was no Warrior on the planet that could keep up. Of course, there were no 01 Warriors so there wasn't much competition. The mighty 02s enjoyed this world wide dominance for a whole year. Then Yamaha released the 03s and the 02 has been second best ever since!

you didn't mention the 'speed bugs' [i love that!] surelythe real 'sign of speed'...i once heard they only splat properly at above 80 mph!! so plod knows when ya speeding...just saying

Well, when he told me he bought an 02 I just had to tell him the truth about the machine he bought being the fastest. I thought everyone would understand but I was wrong. Maybe someday everyone on the forum will realize the truth about the 02 and the world will be a better place. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

one more post from me on this then im done, the fastest year warrior is the one that dynos with the largest torque and horse power number and just so you know you can take all the painted parts off and still run the qtr mile or the dyno so if your warrroir hp is higher then the guy beside you at the light then your color is the fastest color, and vise versa, oh crap, just thought of something what if you race 2 02 warriors titainium in color and one beats the other does it depend on the slight difference in the shade of titianium color ?????????????? btk572

The '02 Warriors were the fastest Warriors . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . in '02. They were also the only ones.

 

Ok now that you kids are done telling your wonderful tales, I suppose I'm obligated to explain the truth.


A long long time ago in the year of 2002,engineers design and unleashed a beast that would forever change the motorcycle industry. The 2002 warrior was hands down the fastest cruiser Yamahaengineers could evenimagine. This warrior ruled the year of 2002. But with this newly untamed beast out there lurking around... Yamaha new in order to keep these beast from terrorizing the country they had to create a new super bike to beat and control this 02 warrior. So they created the 03 red warriors. These 03 red warriors were set out to draw attention with there new flashy bright paint and set a good example to the 02 warriors. But it only took the 02 warriors one year to corrupt these new bright 03 warriors. Quickly Yamaha released the 04 indigo blue flamed warrior!! These warriors would hypnotize the corrupt warriors withthey're magical deep sparkling blue and ghost like flames at which one may get lost in the beauty of. Well that spell was proved to only be a temporary fix for it quickly wore off and the 04 warriors quickly fell.


After years of chaos and warrior rampage Yamaha knew they had to design an immortal beast that would not be over come so in 2005 they created what will forever been known as the MIDNIGHT WARRIOR! For Yamaha new the only thing that could never be turned or destroyed is the blackness of evil. Yamahareleased this new bread of warrior with hopes it would unleash it's evil rath onto all challenging bikes. The Midnight is the true beast, it lurks in the darkness awaiting to destroy all that threaten it. But these 05 Midnight warriors were greatly out numbered by the previous year warriors and Yamaha knew they needed to give this Midnight warrior a whole new arsenal.


In the year of 2006 Yamaha UNLEASHED the ultimate 2006 MIDNIGHT WARRIOR!! With it's 5 spoke wheels and pulley, red pin stripe wheels, and 3/4" lower front stance, this new bread of Midnight Warriors were unbeatable and immune to any weakness. Yamaha also added 1 tooth to the rear pulley so that this new Midnight Warrior could stalk and persecute all of those that attempted to ride away.


Yamaha was SOOO pleased with the reign of the 06 Midnight Warrior that they duplicated it in 07. But soon with the growing number of this newly reformed Warrior, Yamaha realized if they were to continue to create such an immortal beast.... they would soon run off all other species of warrior... and even all other motorcycles in existance.


So beginning in 2008 Yamaha took away some of the stealth of the Midnight by stripping them from there black with red pin-striped wheels. To help tame this beast they removed the "Warrior" badge and replaced it with a "Star".


And so the saga of the Warrior continues...... Yamaha has pledged to the end releasing of anymore immortal beasts upon this earth.
