I actually like the look of this bike. However, the pegs look too far rear and putting forward controls on her looks... impossible?

Also, a quick story... On another forum I read a post about a guy that took his old honda nighthawk on a 3k mile round trip down the Baja peninsula. His buddy was on a BMW. He posted a slide show which also documented the multiple times his buddy's bike needed repair. I asked him about it. His response was, "Yeah, I know BMW is supposed to have this high reliability rating, but every motorcycle mechanic I've asked about it laughs at BMW's supposed reliability."

I looked into it and this is what I found:
https://beachmoto.com/blogs/news/bmw-motorcycles-are-most-reliable-not
"... BMW is dead last when it comes to reliability."

Sometimes marketing campaigns work.

I think it looks to be an awesome bike with a nod to the 30's for styling.
Aside of the placement of the pegs and maybe a fatter tire in the rear,
to me, it is a perfect bike for terrorizing urban areas!

as a former bike tech i concur.. the thing is.. they're really easy to repair.. hel i once swapped out the front wheel of one twice in 5 mins flat!.
also the simple maintenance is really easy on a boxer.. adjusting valves 10 mins.. stuff like that.. all real easy to get to.

but yea.. they do need lots of maintenance and repair.

(+they ride really weird)

It's a cool looking bike, but it looks small doesn't it?

I like the silhouette I like the retro throwback inspired look. if it has a good rumble I could see myself on it. I probably couldn't afford to by it though. im sure they will be very proud of that one

That's funny, I thought the same thing when I saw it. I like the style and the silhouette but the motor kills if for me. Its not the horizontal cylinders, its that giant engine case. It would look better with a Harley motor.

It feels like the muscle bike is making a come back. Ducati, Harley, Indian, Triump and now BMW. I like where this is going.
