Long shot, but if anyone has a corbin Hollywood solo or classic solo seat (not sure on the difference) for sale for an 04+ I would be interested.

Thank you!

Take that stock seat you had modified back to the guys who messed it up. My modified seat is my favorite personally out of all the ones I had or tried out.

Well I bought another seat modified to the shape I wanted and has a gel insert but it's not giving me the comfort of the stiletto. This seat is the last attempt lol.

Maybe I will take it back and have it modified to that shape but keep the soft foam

Took it back today and they refused to redo it. Even after telling me to give it 500 miles and they will take care of it if its wrong. Well nothing I can do, they were paid in cash.

Maybe I can try and shave it down myself.

Uuuuggghhhh don't make me go over to Cali.
Hahah I knew it would happen that's why I was hesitant to go back. They just got that vibe of a shop when I picked up the product. Should have sensed it the first time.

Yeah it really pissed me off. I was starting to get angry and yell but i paid in cash so my money is lost unless I punch the guy lol.

They specialize in low rider auto Upholstery and have so many good reviews on that, and had a bunch of motorcycle seats waiting to be done so I assumed they would be legit.

What makes me mad is that it would have taken them maybe 20 minutes to pop off the cover, shave it down, and staple it back up I bet. Now I have to find these tools and watch YouTube.....

Buy a cheap electric carving knife
Like from Walmart..

Use a flat head screwdriver to pop off the staples

And tham shave down the foam..

Trick is little at a time....

And than re staple the cover back on...

If u dont have a staple gun that does the job..

GO TO ANOTHER DIFFERENT UPOSTERLY
SHOP TO STAPLE THE COVER BACK ON

Use a kitchen type electric knife, the 2-blade kind. Mark the foam cut line with black marker. Micro-shave slices and sneak-up on the shape you want. Cover with a bit of slick plastic tarp covered by a small towel to test-ride, keep it short and dry and avoid abrading motions.

Forget staples, instead use a local automotive or mc upholstery shop to reinstall the cover. They will get rid of the sags that happen when shaving, its an art that only comes with experience.

You guys inspired me. Hour later I got the last staple off..... what a pain! Must have been over 100 staples it felt like

Not sure what to do with this top layer (shop must have installed). Split it carefully I guess and the start shaving.

You can put it back on for smooth look under cover

Be careful with heat. They lauer might melt, if cheap (not 🐑).

They should have used that spray glue to fix they layer (which is a good decision, I think to have the smooth shape and the top layer does not "slide around", if that makes sense).
Good luck with it, that's customizing in the deeper sense of it.
Make it fit the individual shape of your a$$ 🤪

It the top layer fully glued-on?
Is there a gel insert in there?

When shaping, if able, remember to cut to closely clear your tailbone.
Yeah its fully glued on. I ca n see under the layer they replaced a section of foam with different foam.
