I was wondering of anyone has an oppinion on the ruble seat , how you like it, and how comfortable it is for the passenger ?

I have tried all kinds of things under those damned rubber bumpers, nothing seems to help.

If you can get some fleece under the seat it does help some, but the seat fits so tight it is almost not worth the hassle.

Yeah, it rubbed through the, very thin, paint under the seat. But it's underneath the seat! No one can see it unless you remove it. I would have liked to gotten the heated version. I discovered that if you take it off at night and put it in the house, then you don't have to warm it up with your butt, and it makes for a better commute on the cold mornings.

I purchased a Titanium '02 last May. I purchased the Rumble seat later in the month. It is a terrific choice for cruising. My girlfriend can nearly fall asleep on the sucker. Very comfy for both of us. If you want to "carve" the twisties, be aware that you can't shift your butt out of the saddle without a lot of effort, so stick with the stock to do them in style. I've put 14K miles on my Warrior since May. Yes, I live and ride in Central CA, and I only drive my car when it's raining. I do love that seat![/emoticons/emotion-1.gif]

Use 3M clearmask or similar to protect fender, It will rub, But the seat is worth every penny, and looks way better in person

I rubbed right though the 3m plastic.

I didn't like the Corbin DT because of that.. Noticed a huge loss of room from stock to that seat.
I didn't notice any on the rumble, but after riding this seat for many miles, and having the stock seat on only a couple of times since, I can say there is a slight loss. The thing with the stock seat is, you can almost sit as far back as you want, since there is almost no hump for back support ,, ect.

BTW - I am 6'3" and with Legends and Rumble there is plenty of room

I love mine and so does my wife. It does rub the rear fender a little bit but I don't care because the seat is SO much better than the stock one, that I'm never gonna replace it, or if I have to because I tear it up in an accident, I'll replace it with another Corbin. The seat ROCKS.

As I have said a few times before, I love mine. It has not damaged my fender. If it breaks I will buy another one just like it. The coolest thing about this seat to me isn't the comfort "It is very comfortable" but the fact that you do not have to hang on for dear life when riding hard, just relax and twist on the throttle.

I have a newer one than lagalaxy8 has and they have come close to fixing the fender rubbing. I have a heated rumble seat and love it. I have done over 500 miles in a day by myself and over 400 miles in a day with my girlfriend on the back going through the Dragon. Great seat, lookes better in person than in pictures.
