Today I was out riding and was on my way home riding along and this guy on a 1200 sportster comes flyin up in the lane beside me and slows down to my pace(the speed limit) for a moment and guns it away. I didn't think much of until the next light was red and he was sitting there. I pulled up next to him and looked over at him. He looked back at me and w/ a smile revved his motor and nodded his head. I had to chuckle because he must not have known what I was riding. Light turned green and he hammered on it and I just rode alongside through second gear. LOL. I clicked the Warrior into 3rd and rode away from him. I kept the gas on until I hit 90 and then backed it down to the speed limit. He knew he got smoked and blew by me and never looked back. Had to share w/ you guys. Im sure some of you guys have had the same experiences w/ some of these "Hardley" people, and having to put them in their place. [/emoticons/emotion-2.gif]

oh yea! i know exactlly what your talkin about. i got a buddy that has a roadking custom with the stage 2 screamin eagle on it. he come flagged me down and started talkin trash. my bike was purley stock at that time. he asked me if i would like to watch the tail light of a real bike. i told him to take off whenever he felt he was ready to try to beat me. he immediatly blasted off and then i took off. i caught up, then passed him within the first 150 feet! needless to say he doesnt rag me about my "rice burner" anymore.

LOL.... I wonder if these guys have even heard of the warrior before they decide to tangle w/ one. I know I have never seen one around here. I bought my bike in January based on what I read here. Never rode one, let alone even heard one. The first time I saw a warrior in person was the night I bought it. I never even knew they made the warrior until about 6 months ago. I put the roadhouse slip-on on it and needless to say, this has to be the greatest bike.

There's so much Sh%t you can put on these warriors, I wouldn't trust them jspencer. LOL I owned nothing but Yamahas. RD200, SX650, Seca 750, FJ1100. When I decided to get a cruiser, Yamaha didn't have anything I liked besides the VMAX[/emoticons/emotion-2.gif] I couldn't afford one of those at the time. So I bought a Vulcan 1500 Classic. When I seen the Warrior for the first time, I put my bike on e-bay the next day for a 3 day sale. Sold it and bought the Warrior the same day. I was in daytona and smoked a custom. Dude thought since he paid tens of thousands of dollars for his bike that he was just going to burn me, well needless to say I beat him in second gear didn't even get to third and let off the clutch. See we were at a stoplight and the girl beside him gunned it, well he gunned it so I was like shi* thats my type-o-riding, so I gunned it too..... passed both of them and let off the gas, I was laughing and joking, giving a thumbs up and he came up cussing bla bla bla that thing makes a lot of noise, lets run em come on. We were on A1A, during bike week. Where theres like 5 cops every block. I was like naw dude, you got me... I can't beat you.....

Point is I wasn't even trying. Scott said I shoulda told the guy I was running on one cylinder. LMAO

yeah, my girlfriend's stepfather got his fatboy customized. a bigbore-kit, new cams, new pistons, powercommander, exhaust and stuff and they custom-mapped it at the dyno. now he's really proud of it: 81 hp and 105ft/lbs at the rearwheel. all in all he spend around 10k more than i paid for my warrior.
now it looks like a boring stock-harley and i'll smoke him anyway /emoticons/emotion-5.gif

I too ran a Harley with the 103 kit last weekend. He pulled up to me at a light and asked if I wanted to run him. I smiled real big and said "sure." Smoked him big time. We pulled into the next gas station where he asked what I had done to my motor. When I replied "nothing, it's stock" you should have seen the look on his face. It was priceless. The only downside was how badly my facial muscles hurt from the S**t eating grin that I couldn't wipe off my face for the rest of the day.

I rode the VRod when trying to pick my bike. Rode a stock Warrior and was floored. Rode the VRod and loved everything except I felt like the riding position was kind of funky for a daily driver in rush hour traffic. The power was nice but the stock Warrior was still a kick in the pants. I rode the mean streak and it was really comfortable but didn't have any b@lls. I rode a fully tweaked out VTX but it felt about the same as the stock warrior. I was going to ride the victory vegas which I think is a great looking bike but it was a 1500 or something and I realized that nothing was going to compare to the warrior. It's an amazing bike.

Yes, good stuff to read about and chuckle, sympathize for the poor suckers. Too bad so many of them have that arrogant and aloof attitude. Stopped at a red light some months ago next to a real cool and obviously bad poser on one of those FLXDGXHRZW whatever; saying hello to him and nodding my head commenting what a beautiful day it was for riding. He couldn't be bothered to even respond in any way other than to smirk as he gave my beast a quick once over.
Green light-- he blasted off,,,,hmmm okay, well then me too, blew by him at opposite side of intersection, shifted into second then drifted to the next light. He turned off.

I dont know whats going on with mine, or maybe you guys have alot more than me. I have a buddy with a Softail w/ a 95ci. He and I will run and whoever takes off first takes the race. We've both said that we want to do a real run. I also weigh 50+ pounds more. My biggest problem is the real wheel slipping when I get on it. Not enough grip.

For most of the HD crowd they cant hang. But BEWARE there are a few.
