A couple years ago an air conditioning repairman grabbed a kid off a several-story-tall rooftop as he ran toward the edge. He saved the kid's life. When questioned the kid told the police the repairman should be arrested for kidnapping and holding him against his will.

He said he was only going to jump to the other building roof a couple stories lower. He believed his momentum would carry him the ~300 feet (~92 meters) horizontal distance, and he seemed to expect to land on his feet.

That isn't Hollywood's fault, its parenting and education.

Thankfully there are not many who just don't 'get it' if you know what I mean. At the time I laughed and said 'should have let him jump' but then I felt bad for having said that and I wondered for days if he learned a lesson or if he went out and made the jump somewhere else.

That clip was the biggest load of bollocks I have ever been unfortunate enough to see!
I suppose a 6 year old kid might like it... maybe!

We are short on good motorbike films - I like Wild hogs, and the british film Freebird was ok, but neither of them are as much fun as watching someones own footage on utube, I did like the bit above where the 2 chicks were dueling on the bikes "bring it on bitch" or woteva! Ha,haha!
I'd just seen (part of) Laura Croft tomb-raider on tv, she was doing some stunts on what looked like a ducati, but google tells me it was in fact a TRX850 - modded out I should think cos it looked prety cool, would make a good 2nd bike for winter

If you have not seen the movie called "The worlds fastest Indian" it is a great movie (or I thought so anyway)...It's not a big action movie or anything, but it is the life story of New Zealander Burt Munro, who spent years building a 1920 Indian motorcycle -- a bike which helped him set the land-speed world record at Utah's Bonneville Salt Flats in 1967 and it stars Anthony Hopkins.

Check it out!

As opposed to that other piece of crap - "The Worlds fastest Indian" was an outstanding film!
Highly recommended if you haven't seen it yet!

One thing I thought was brilliant about it, was even someone who isn't into bikes can watch it and still enjoy it. A great family movie and a true story too!

I also didn't realise that Hannibal Lecter had done so many things before he got locked up! :D
