I rode 2 sport bikes over the last 3 years (cbr600f4 & cbr600f4i), but never once did I use a website to ask questions. All I had to do was go to my neighbor and ask him. There are so many sport bikes out there. Once I decided to step up to a man's bike, I found a Warrior Midnight and fell in love at first site, before buying I found this website and found myself saying "man, people from all over the world love and adore this bike." That's what made my final decision for me, the support that there is on this website out does any that I have seen.

There is at least one other that has a few technical guys who take satisfaction in helping others, the VTXOA site for VTX owners. I've used them from time to time and have saved significant $$ following step by step instructions with photos. RSWarrior at least equals that, but with more involved members and more camraderie.

It really is a good site. It's only because of this site that I've had the confidence to mod my own bike. Terrific information/knowledge/creative sharing. The Warrior is definitely a niche bike -- more and more since it's been discontinued -- which is something that the peeps here have in common.

And there is some really funny and entertaining stuff on the site as well. And, finally, the breast thread obviously draws its share of traffic (thanks oldman).

I don't have a facebook or twitter account. Besides this one, I am a member on only one other online forum (http://www.nissanmurano.org/), and have posted a total of 5 times on that account. Anyway, maybe that says something. haha.

I had a R6 and the Warrior for a while. That forum is pretty dead. R6-forum.com is actually a pretty good forum. I used to spend a lot of time on there before I sold the R6. It is a lot like this forum with a lot of regular members and plenty of help if you had any questions. I bought quite a few things from members over there. However there wasn't any threads like we have here with the popular mods and with all of the technical specifications on our bikes.

I sold my R6 to get the Warrior
Good move. I bet you get many more people turning their heads when they look at your Warrior, compared to R6.
Before I bought the Warrior, I shopped a lot for many bikes and the only one that caught my eyes was the Warrior. When I found this forum and saw how much technical information was available, as well the endless number of mods you can do to the bike I was sold right away.

This website is def #1. I also apart of allfordmustangs.com and buellxb.com. They are both great forum but def don't have the same kind of attitude. I have tried helping out of the allfordmustangs.com (def a good site for mustangs). The buellxb site is like pulling teeth.

When looking for a forum about ANY topic. The first thing I do is to search "Todays posts" if there is an option. Then check how many posts in the last week. If there are only a handful, its not an active forum and I move on looking for another.

For example, there have been 65 threads responded to in the last 24 hours here on rswarrior.com which is easily 100 posts.

Try to find an r6 forum that is run by riders, not VS.

RSW and zx-10r.net are the exceptions. The forums in the motorcycle.com family suck. Google r6 forums. Find another one. I bet there are some good guys out there that can help. The same thing happened to gixxer.com. The real info is at gixxernation.com, an offshoot.

I could go on and on about this 4m! Its definitly the members that make it! I'm always amazed at the foundings members vision to create the data bases to save the info in an organized manner.

Popular Mods, Model Year Difference's, Handlebar threads, Mirror threads, Exhaust threads, Map threads, etc etc. PLUS, with 2 major format changes in the past 2 years, the founding members had the smarts to save most of the info, so it wouldn't get "Lost". THAT is Killer.

I'm still finding things about this 4m after 2 years

RSW is one of the best, but it isn't in a class by itself. There are lots of other forums out there full of good people ready and willing to help out. There are also a lot of piss poor forums out there. Makes you wonder how they manage to keep going. One of the things that makes a forum stand out is the way the people think about their ride whether it be 2 wheels or more. I used to have the following in my sig line. It pretty much explains it.

Warrior, it's not just a hobby, it's an obsession!

I'm a member of a maruder 800 forum (m.i.g) it absolutely stinks compared to rswarrior. 4,000 members but only maybe 5 people actively post. I asked a tire question a month ago still no answer. It's a delphi forum so it really suxs they want you to pay to post pictures, have an avatar, It's garbage and I pretty much gave up on that forum!
