i tried posting the mod on this site but it isint going on. the bikes blown and ready. i am running 9psi. i have had it out for the last month. sorry i have not posted earlier. i have been out riding[/emoticons/emotion-2.gif]
the bike is making 133hp and 152ft/lbs torque. its real sweet now. the brakes are from europe (awesome stopping power!)i never need more than a finger to stop. also got a 240 wheel on the back. the bikes got a carb now. no more f.i.
I can now power slide the rear wheel in first on gas alone. i even break it loose a bit in second.
YEEEEEEEHHHAAAAWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had thought of going to a carb set up a long time ago, but now, I wish there were someone that could figure this out for the FI. I am more interested in this than internal mods, but don't really want to be expierimenting, etc.... Love the idea of 133hp on cheap pump gas....

Ya I talked to Nigel at Indy a couple years ago about it. But it also comes with some headaches. Jetting etc... The benifit of carborated would be more air, as the FI is pretty limited... I know thier Turbo is FI, I would like to see the SC FIed also.

Superchargers take alot to run because they are either gear or belt driven. That being said, they do not offer good gas mileage - but work great. When your not using a SC the motor is still turning the unit. It takes power to make power when using a SC. A turbo setup does not use gears or belts, but uses exhaust gases = better fuel economy, unless your boosting, which takes more gas to get more power. Your SC will never get the same gas mileage as a turbo - but you will get alot of power and NO lag.

this is so not true, especially for most new blowers, only old ones that did not have a bypass valve. almost all new ones have an internal bypass valve, or you can employ an external valve if yours doesnt have an internal

here is a link to what im talking about

http://www.magnusonproducts.com/bypass.htm

that said, super chargers are very efficent, as they have no lag and produce boost on demand.... but they do give up a step or two, to a turbo in overall power, but with the rev caracteristics of the warrior, i would think it wouldnt be noticable execpt at the strip....

Just be aware that these are marketing slides.
For every company saying one thing, there is another one saying the oposite:

Bypass and Blowoff valves have become standard for all these setups, they make things better.

I am still very interested in some dyno charts.

Redbull:call patrick racing. they run their warriors only with carbs.

They are running carbs because they have completely removed the whole ecu and are running a custom cam cover with HD pickups and using the msd mc-4 for timing adjustment. I am sure if you could reflash our ECUs and custom program then they would be using efi.

that front brake system cost me $1300.00 in parts alone (each bike). i did all the machining to make it work (for both bikes). the warrior stops at least twice as easily as compared to the stock brakes and the bandit can endo with one finger on the lever.

Inreased braking power, but a lot of increased rotational weight.. the worst kind of weight to add. The Buells wheel uses something similar but only one side.. the wheel is lighter on a scale than an R6 wheel with 2 rotors, but because the weight is located at the outer edge it creates more rotational weight, I can't imagine what two rotors would do!!

True, but... it looks like something out of a science fiction movie!!! [/emoticons/emotion-4.gif] Very cool! [8D]

looks like they stole the radial mounted brake design from buell. i had a buell firebolt that had those brakes and it only had 1 rotor and you could put yourself over the handlebars very easily. that blower setup is just about the coolest thing i have ever seen done on a metric bike. congradulations on your task, i'll drink to that.
