Hi!
I am doing my recall next month!..(havent used the bike for two years!!)
Now i have the cash to mod it and the time to ride it!
I am putting in Hc pistons+cam(from Yamma or PR), Wide band commander, Holeshot header, 5th gear swap and stiffer clutchspring.
And maby more later!
What i am wondering is...

1. What air kit is the best?.. Yammas own, Barons,PR or other?

2. Who makes the best pistons/cams?

I will need a kit that is good for more power to come later!

Anything else you guys recon i should need...For speed???...[/emoticons/emotion-2.gif]

I am thankful for all tips that can make her a wilder lady!
YES...Its a she!!!...[/emoticons/emotion-4.gif]

Thank you out there!
I think i am going for the PR-kit since i might order pistons and cams form them insted to!

Do you know if ther combo, pistons+cam is a better choice than the yamma spedstar stuff?

PR uses JE pistons and I think Yamaha uses Wiesco. I prefer JE. As far as parts I think PR is the way to go. I had an OE cam kit go bad and replaced it with the PR cam kit. I was amazed at how much better my bike pulls down low with the PR cam kit. PR does own the fastest Warrior.

Thanks, think i will stick to PR..!

I run all PR stuff in my bikes and could not be happier.

They seem to be the only ones to actually come up with several prototypes that they dyno test and pick the best performing combinations. The new airkit for the Roadliner is a good example. It requires 4 axis CNC machining to make the precise radiuses and cone shapes required for the velocity stacks.
I believe they are in a category by themselves in terms of performance knowhow and experience.
