What did you do to your Warrior Today???

So this is a popular thing on the chevy truck forum I am on and think it could be popular here as well. Just simply post what you did to your bike today. If its was just washing it down or totaly rebuild the motor. The idea is to share what we do each day to our Warriors.

Today I rode to work and washed it off when I got home.

My Warrior is getting older.....

2004

I think her hearing is going because she growls pretty loud. She farts alot and it scares people every once in a while on the street. But, she still looks modern and shiny. I try to console her and explain to her that we are all getting oder these days. I bought a 2017 Triumph and put it next to her to keep her company in the garage but she says she now feels fat next to the Triumph and squatty. I tell her that I like her like that. She asked my why I need a Triumph on the side to ride if she is enough? Ouch! Wasn't sure what to tell her. I told her that sometimes I like the British accent she has and her styling. She gets upset and I can tell that she is bothered because she will start up slower when we have those talks..

She wants me to replace her......So I am.

Selling The Triumph tomorrow.
I told the Warrior I might be feeling feisty and replace her with a sexy tatted, red flagged fast beeeotch that screams loud and has 2 exhausts which she will let me use (both of them).

Well, I took my bike out for test ride only a couple miles. It’s been the first time in four years that it’s been outside. It’s been a long time since my busted legs in 2020.

Anyway, I think I fixed the issue I had of it cutting out had some friends over replaced the CPS and the lean angle sensor . I cleaned up the foot controls put on a couple little bling bling . I bought another bracket for the brake pedal and modified it because I’ve already moved the horn and modified the break spring stuff years ago. I don’t like modifying my OEM stuff. I just take it off and box it up put it away, because you never know when you might need it or want it. Anyway cleaned up nicely, she’s working & sounds good, looks good. I do have Ivan‘s tune and some other goodies, I have a PC5 and a cobra tuner to put back on not sure which one I’ll use .

Oh, and lets not forget about the handlebar Risers, that was more involved than I expected, having to get some longer lines for the clutch and brake, but I followed suggestions here and got her going. Got it installed, not too happy with the sloppy fit of the Kuryakins, I did do that 4 bearing modification, but yeah, I’ll do them again, except next time better I guess.

I’d like to thank the brothers here who helped me out, Arizona Warrior, Alanh, HeftySmurf And several others that I’ve purchased parts from.

Love that look! And love that right side air cleaner! Love the fog/driving lights way down on the forks too! Beautiful bike!

It’s part of a set , I also have the saddle bags.
I’ll look them over , but I don’t remember any tags.
I’m 2nd owner , bought it in 2014 with 3,800 miles on it . I only ride in the summer , also had a Honda Nighthawk in same condition that I recently sold . 2 completely different bikes

I do have a 33 tooth pulley that’s been collecting dust , I’m thinking it’s time to get it machined up to fit .

I’ve read the mod many times so I’ll do my research first .
I think you’ve written up and sold a few of those pulleys 👍

I drained her oil on Saturday in preparation to 2-plate mod and Barnett upgrade her. Somehow, I’ve acquired THREE gaskets. Good thing, too, because two of them have slight to significant creases from non-flat shipping. One is immaculate so I’m in luck.

She sits on my Jack, now, awaiting my time to actually do the work.

Will keep you posted.

Getting a new tire delivered today! Don’t NEED it just yet but will soon. And given the Avon Tyre conversation, decided it’d be prudent to get the tire I want before I’m forced to take something I don’t.

Not sure if this qualifies as what "I" personally did, but I Brought my 02' in to the dealer for her recall work lol. Not the original owner so I looked up the VIN and low and behold.... She's getting new parts.
