I've checked the fuses, all good. I've taken the left horn button housing apart and looked at the switch and put back on, still nothing. Any idea's why both horns don't work?

Here's the electricalschematic: http://www.fileden.com/files/2008/1/1/1673654/Warrior/Warrior%20Schematic.pdf

The horn is protected by the signal fuse #68 which also covers the brake, license, turn signal and reartail light as well as the speedo & tach light.

The horn & the Turn Signal Self-Cancelling Circuit (TSSCC)share the same common Ground (Grnd) out of the left switch housing to the head light.

If all these other lights work as stated and theTSSCC works, you have a problem with the Horn button or Grnd wire connection @ the buttonon the handle bar.

Based on your gallery photos your bars are not internally wired and are stock wired?

For trouble shooting purposes i would jumper the SOLID Black wire @ the RH frt horn to the frame with the ignition key on. Once again the SOLID Black wire, Not the Blk/Wht wire or alternatively the solid Pink wire on the LH rear horn.[/list]

Lets have some feed-back

WHAT??? The Warrior has horns? Two at that? I don't think I have EVER used my horns in four years.

Really there are horns on this bike?

Yes, & they work well except with morons on cell phones & young kids playing their crappy boom boom music.Scratch that last word, you can't really call that crap music.I use them all the time coming up to intersections & turn arounds. The bike rider doesn't hear them that well but most cagers do.

I don't use them that much. I went to use them one day because a guy in a car was starting to veer into my lane. I hit the horn button and nothing. I still would like to have them even thou i don't use them much. In a few mins. i will check them out the way Allan suggests. I am also curious to why they both would stop working. I'd rather have them and not use them much versus not having them at all. In the near future i do plan on getting louder one's. I've checked on this forum and seen people using much louder horns that are available from different company's.

Thanks for the info Alan. I did find the problem. It was the horn button itself. The contacts must of been dirty. Horns both work. Now i have a bigger problem. I had a V&H pro pipe on the bike did the correct map for the bike with my set up. Switched the pipes to Samson Street Sweepers, didn't change map for Samsons. Ran o.k. for a little while, then the bike ran funny, spitting and felt like on only one cylinder. Changed plugs and all ran o.k.. Yesterday when fixing horn issue i decided to put back Ram's lowering kit back on bike with stock bike height and change pipe back to the V&H Pro pipe and still never changed map. Don't have a computer to change map on bike. Everything was running o.k. Went for a 20-25 mile run when head light got dim, Tachometer went out, bike ran like crap and barely made it to a gas station so i could see under a light. Seemed like the battery went dead. Wouldn't crank bike fast enough to start back up. Even got the clicking noise from a dead battery. Like i said seemed like a dead battery, (the battery is only 1-2 years old.) Checked all fuses, all fuses good. Got a ride to get my truck with trailer. Came back with trailer and started bike up to ride onto trailer and get it home. Totally dumb founded. My next thing i will try is to re-do PC111 to "perfect intall" get proper map for my set up, but should still be in pc111 and recharge battery. Any other suggestions?

I commute 60 miles a day on the freeway here in San Diego and I have the opportunity to use my horn every day. I never do though because getting out of the way of idiots on their phones is my first instinct and by the time I'm out of danger, I'm past them and it's too late for the horn. I am still going to install a 140db air horn so I can make the statement as I pass them by...
