Just wanted to share that I completed the install of V&H Big Radius, fuelpak and stock K&N filters (I know, I know I should have bought Churchkey’s VBAK, but I didn’t… for now). Anyway these are my very first mods ever done on a bike (unless an oil change counts) and it’s thanks to searching and finding the right information on this forum before attempting the mods, otherwise I would have paid the stealership to do them. More importantly, knowing that help was just a keystroke away was very reassuring for me as well as a motivating factor. It took me longer than expected but after all was installed, the bike started right up on the first try, after having sat in the garage all winter long. There was a smoke show coming from the rear cylinder but I kept my fingers crossed hoping it was the burning anti-seize I used on the new exhaust gaskets. Sure enough, after about 15 minutes of running the bike, no more smoke…only the awesome deep rumbling sound from the Big Radius. Here are a few pics:
