So this is a popular thing on the chevy truck forum I am on and think it could be popular here as well. Just simply post what you did to your bike today. If its was just washing it down or totaly rebuild the motor. The idea is to share what we do each day to our Warriors.

Today I rode to work and washed it off when I got home.

Yeah I know.... I've yet to finish uploading pics from my Canadian/USA trip. Life got busy with work Civil construction and Mine Training contracts upon my return to Oz. More to come including Hoover Dam/Death Valley/Extraterrestrial Highway on a Street Glide.

For now, I'm currently on my first overnight trip with the Blue 06 Warrior which I modded with sissy bar, rack and bags.

It was 6C & overcast when I left home this morning. First break in the weather from rain in the last few weeks. I had 5 layers of clothing and still froze my ass off.
Rode from Perth city Western Australia down into the south west tall timber Karri & Jarrah forests. 380 kms. Arrived in Pemberton late afternoon.
The bike ran great.... it's awesome to be able to pack & go. Heading back north to the city tomorrow as the weather is closing in again.
Comparative thoughts on 2018 Street Glide Vs XV 1700 Warrior.....
I don't need a batwing faring that buffets the crap outta my head.
I dont need a clunky HD GPS.
I dont need all that HD extra weight.
I can see why there are so many videos on YouTube where riders are dropping HD's in various scenarios.

Warrior is a weapon and I prefer the free air stream on my body rather than it all being directed at my head.
I enjoyed the Street Glide but I love my Warriors.

Headed back early yesterday morning as the weather was closing back in and I have no wet weather gear.
Temp was 4C so I added an extra two skivvys. With my leather vest and summer jacket, I had 5 other layers up to inclusive of a set of long John's.
It was bloody cold. But the sun was shining and I needed to get out of Pemberton before the rain came. I figured I had time to climb the Glouster Tree before journeying home and it was only 1km from my accommodation.
Not to be however as all tree climbs in the region were closed, something about to wet, cold and slippery. To Hazardous!
They have built a lot into this section of the park. Flying fox lines different elevated rope obstacles and extra shorter treeclimbs. For my mind the whole thing looks a little underdone, somewhat agricultural. SeaContainers just don't look right in underneath these grand old trees.
After wandering around checking it all out I decided I wouldn't be back any time soon.
The large tracks of tall timber Karri forest I remember as a young fella are all but gone. The previous day my motel restaurant was closed as I was told were all the good outlets in the township.
When I walked into the Pub at 3.30pm I was told they cook Breakfast Lunch & Dinner but Dinners not till 5.30.
I wanted to eat then. On the off chance something was open I headed down the other part of town everything appeared shut but then saw I saw a young girl and boy playing outside of a bakery.
I asked if the bakery was open and the girl responded..."We only sell pies and drinks. " I grabbed a feed from there and returned to the motel to eat, shower and get an early night.
Anyway it was that cold and foggy in places, Ì found myself riding into blinding light, fogged up visors and glassess, several times pulling up quick as if lose all awareness of my position on the road. The early morning sun light had quickly become my greatest hazard as I rode through forested hills and valleys layered in fog the occasional shards of sunlight periodically blinding me.
Now I'm thinking this is why the boys decided not to ride.
By the time I broke free of the fog and made my way out of the deeper valleys into more undulated pasture country the day was warming and the ride was greying more comfortable and fun.
Covered 780kms over the two days.
Cheers
Rocksfly.

That's a nice, clean Warrior!

Didn't do anything today but I recently removed all the bodywork and am having it prepped for paint. I'll update my for-sale thread after that's done. Also, and unfortunately, discovered that my left fork leg is weeping fluid. Need to call to see how much that will take to fix. It was supposed to have been done by another shop - that has eroded my trust in them now.

Today I returned from this tour. Five days and 4 nights. 4200 kilometers on the road. Gorgeous northern roads, with smooth serpentines on which I rushed at a speed of 160 kilometers per hour. For the first time in my life, I caught myself thinking that I do not exit a turn with a well-open gas, but enter a turn in acceleration)) I passed about 50 kilometers of off-road. I kicked stones on the coast of the Arctic Ocean. It was a cool week!

Just incredible!! You, sir, are truly living life to the fullest!

Any chance you took any pics by the Artic sea shore?

And to your comment about your loud pipes... maybe they really do save lives... by driving the bears away!!
