Have communicated with Chuck U Farley (OzBike) and at this point in time he is keen to come out and see us, but nothing is certain as there is a few things on around that time. Have invited him and the Jo (missus) to stay a night with us. I hope that's OK!

I presume Chuck is the reporter of OzBike, you mentioned last time we met?
If this is the case, and he is keen to do an article, as far as I am concerned, he is welcome. If he is rolling in just because he is part of OzBike, I think you know what the standard rules for this gathering is. No warrior (or ex warrior pat) , no entry.
In regards to Jo, this might throw up some dust and has the tendency to change the complete WWW. Many times, there have been the request to invite partners and every time the answer was the same. I cannot see why we should make an exception here and recommend against it.

Note, I do speak for myself here and as always, leave it open to the attendances of this gathering, so if somebody would like to comment, agree or disagree, do so......

I agree with you Dutch. Having Jo there is just opening a can of worms. During the organizing of this I have been asked by so many new members the same question if they can bring partners and the answer was no. It is the only ride of the year we don't invite partners due to the logistics of accommodation and fear of upsetting someones partner. My votes no.

Why not have them out for the day or evening. We will most likely be riding most of the day anyway. That way it kills two birds with one stone.

Hi, If numbers need to be sorted now ... I'll say I wont be attending. The way it's looking for me in Oct - it was only a slim chance of me making it anyway, (much to my regret). I guess I'll just have to look at the pictures and read about it again this year. lol
My loss !!!

 

We just need the definates to confirm and pay up. Extras hopefully can be added at the end. So if you can make it, it would be great to see you there.

G'day Dutch,
The new digs are great and there is a tonne of work to be done here and at the old place. Been that busy that the only time I have had to ride the bike was when I moved it over to here. I don't know anything about your alternator but your stator is still stuck in my bike. I haven't riden it much so the stator is still in good nick and not worn out hahahaha. Please be a bit patient with me, it is not ranking high on the priorities at the moment. What with thinning trees out, mowing lawns til the sheep and cattle get here, building roads so that bikes and tractors don't get bogged and the list goes on.
So as soon as I can will whip it out, wipe it and send it to ya, and the stator too.

D'Tart... I am not aware of your nightly bodily actions (aka snoring) but if you are coming close to the sounds spokes makes than you better cuddle up with him. I have been made aware that people are still waking up, traumatized after spending a night in the same room as spokes , and believe me, he was knocked out, cuddled up and fast asleep . That man is amzing how much sound he can create and even achieve to breathe at the same time

Sorry guys. I have to pull out of WWW12. I am now working and living (part time) in Kalgoorlie. I have been here a short while so taking time out is too difficult. Was looking forward to it but cant do it. Will need to wait for WWW13 now.
I am looking at getting my ride here at the mo.
Need to find some WA guys now. Anyways, enjoy the event.
