I'm real impressed with a lot of our newer members, and even some older members who were lurking quietly for years. There's a lot of good useable information being shared recently. Even new hardware that lots of us didn't know about yet. Its cool.

This is such a cool post. I just added it to my favorites list. Thanks AZ for all your work.

I was wondering if the Following thread qualifies for this posting?
http://www.rswarrior.com/forums/14-...4-installed-warrior-modifications-accessories/172170-comfortable-foot-pegs.html

I'm tellin you, This 1 mod made the bike such a pleasure to ride it is unbelievable. Coming from "Standards" my back was killing me after 30 miles. I bought seats, bars, pegs and everything helped, But this by far was the magic pill.
I was in the process of buying extra Footpeg mounting brackets, going to Motorcycle junkyards, e-bay, dealers, gathering up parts to add floorboards it is unbelievabe.

This is cheap easy and works perfect.

Again thanks for all your hard work.

This tire link has been added and will post with the October update, adding to the Avon and Dunlop dual-compund tire offerings but the Michelin only goes to 190mm:
Tires - Michelin Pilot Road 2: Michelin Motorcycle Tires

Sure 1256, that seems like a great addition to the pegs knowledgebase so its added and will also post with the October update!

WooHoo! Robriguez has come up with a link to the most recent e-copy of the 2002 Service Manual with the 2003 and 2006 Supplements. As you will see, Yamaha did NOT merge everything into one manual, its three separate stand-alone manuals inside one pdf file.

I've been working with all 3 manuals for a couple of years now. It took me awhile to realize that the 2003 supplement does a better job of describing things that already existed on the 2002 Warrior, but were glazed-over or skipped by the 2002 manual. So I looked closer at the 2006 supplement and realized it also does a better job of describing some of the things that existed on 2002-2005 model year Warriors. Of course the supplements also cover new/revised features, so you have to be careful and pay attention.

So when you use this 3-manual volume, be sure to START by reading the applicable section of the 2002 manual, then check the 2003 supplement for any updates or changes, then check the 2006 supplement for any updates or changes. And keep an eye out for newer features like 2006+ Radial Front Brakes that don't apply to earlier model years lol.

This will post with the October update:

These dry break tidbits will post with the October update. I can't find my notes to confirm if the stock dry break HOSE ID is 12mm. Does anyone happen to have a stock hose on-hand that has been removed and can measure the ID?

Fuel Tank - Dry Break - 'AN' Thread and Hose ID: AN thread - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Fuel Tank - Dry Break - '8AN' aftermarket dry breaks use 1/2-inch ID hose. '6AN' uses 3/8" hose.
Fuel Tank - Dry Break - Unconfirmed note: stock dry break hose ID is 12mm (~1/2-inch)?

This slick DIY will post with the October update:

I have to say I'm real impressed with the quantity of cool stuff being produed by members this quarter! I usually don't add much. But between replacing broken links with new posts, and the new guys bringing their tricks to the Warrior, and the old guys inventing and converting new tricks, there's hardly a part left un-touched these days!

Stock drybreak hose ID is 3/8 I just measured it.
Don't have a metric tape but i just measured my old hose and it's 7/16. i replaced it with a 3/8 and it was a bear to get on.
Did you measure the I/D at the very end where the hose goes over the nipple, or did you hack your's in half and measure the actual size the fuel runs through after the flared ends? Cause at the ends that are flared you are correct at 7/16.

Thank you both. Now for a tie-breaker . . . haha just kidding.
You're welcome bud. Always try to help.

Since more headway was made fixing broken links and the like, I've posted an update now instead of waiting until October. This means all the suggested links to this point have posted. Thanks again to everyone who has helped.
